DESCRIPTION
NIE Transformer Oils are
mineral electrical insulating oils of superior quality, specially refined
and processed from carefully selected indigenous / imported feed stocks.
NIE transformer Oils are branded as - NIE series which are uninhibited
mineral insulating oils and NIE-"I" series which are inhibited
mineral insulating oils.
PROPERTIES
- Good dielectric properties
resulting in minimum power loss.
- High resistivity giving better
insulation values between windings.
- High flash point resulting in
low evaporation losses due to high thermal stability.
- Excellent interfacial tension
for quick water separation.
- Proven resistance to
Electrical Stresses.

- Low viscosity improves
cooling.

Remarkably low sludge and
acidity formation in both ageing oxidation tests give longer life to
oil and equipment during storage and service.
APPLICATIONS
Our oil is widely used in Transformers, oil immersed circuit
breakers and switchgears.
NIE -
"I" series is used in special transformers
designed to operate at elevated temperatures and in low maintenance / maintenance-free
transformers designed to operate for long periods.
These products should not be used where safety specifications require
the use of a non-flammable insulating oil.
SUPPLY OPTIONS
Our oils are available in a variety of
packing options to suit customer needs, ranging from Cans, Drums,
Tank-trucks, ISO Tank containers and Flexi bags.
Bulk transportation is done via wholly owned dedicated fleet of
epicoated tankers to ensure prompt delivery and reliability.

NIE-I series, namely NIE-I,
NIE-IA and NIE-IB confirm to the corresponding inhibited
oil specifications and shall contain 0.15% to 0.4% of anti-oxidant
additive.
