DESCRIPTION
NIE CP SERIES Oils are mineral oil based rust preventives
intended for indoor storage protection of ferrous metals. These oils leave
a thin oily / waxy barrier film on treated parts to provide six to twelve
months of indoor protection under normal storage conditions. The film can
be readily cleaned prior to downstream processing of parts. NIE CP SERIES Oils have powerful water displacing properties to
permit treatment of wet parts. NIE CP SERIES Oils, being
barium free, minimize environmental concerns.
These oils are formulated from superior performance active ingredients,
high quality mineral oils and selected solvents. These oils are unaffected
by dragged-in acids and alkalies and are economical in use. Depending on
requirements, NIE CP SERIES Oils can be designed to have
flash point ranging from 40oC to 125oC, thereby
providing lower volatile organic contents (VOC) as compared to most
solvent based products.
